MAUDAN LEGAL PARTNERS in compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the "Law"), its Regulations, and the Privacy Notice Guidelines, MAUDAN (hereinafter referred to as "the Firm"), acts as the Data Controller responsible for the processing, use, and protection of your personal data.
This document details how we collect and use the information you provide to us through our website, electronic communications, and contractual relationships.

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

To fulfill the purposes described in this notice, the Firm may collect the following categories of data:

Identification: Full name, official identification, signature.

Contact: Corporate email, office or mobile phone, address.

Tax/Financial: RFC (Tax ID), tax domicile, financial information for billing and payments.

Corporate and Intellectual Property: Information about your brands, patents, industrial designs, corporate structures, property titles, and litigation background.

Sensitive Data: In strictly necessary cases for strategic litigation or legal defense, data requiring special protection may be processed. In such instances, we will request your express consent.

Primary Purposes (Legal Relationship):

Provision of legal consulting and representation services in Intellectual Property.

Management of procedures before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and the National Institute of Copyright (INDAUTOR).

Secondary Purposes (Marketing and Improvement):

The Firm may transfer your personal data without requiring your consent according to the terms of Article 37 of the Law, particularly to:

Administrative and Judicial Authorities: (IMPI, COFEPRIS, Courts, etc.) when necessary for the management of your procedures or legal defense.

International Correspondents: In the case of requiring protection of assets abroad, under strict confidentiality agreements.

Third-party service providers: Solely for billing or internal storage purposes under international security standards (AWS, Google Cloud).

 

4. ARCO RIGHTS (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition)

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, what we use it for, and the conditions of its use (Access). Likewise, it is your right to request the correction of your personal information (Rectification); that we delete it from our records (Cancellation); or to oppose the use of your data for specific purposes (Opposition).
To exercise your ARCO Rights, you must submit a written request to the email: privacidad@maudan.mx
Said request must contain:

Name of the right holder and an address or means to communicate the response.

Documents accrediting identity or legal representation.

Clear description of the personal data for which the right is to be exercised.

Any other element that facilitates the location of the data.
